Vortrag/ lecture in Treasure HIll

The art of the extended voice" gehalten.

Yesterday I had my last public appearance in Taipei. In Treasure Hill Artist Village, a dependence of the TAV I gave a talk entitled "The art of the extended voice."
That was a rather odd experience. Everything about the presentation was small, tiny. I had asked for speakers to present possibly some sound samples. The speakers were tiny, very small specimens of the table speakers that you can connect directly to the computer. I then preferred presentig my voice live (an option that I had considered before).
Also, I had asked for a flip chart or blackboard to write down a few names and websites. I got a small student panel, such as those
former pupil of the elementary school had. The café where the lecture took place was also very small. Still, it was quite interesting. In the audience was as a Taiwanese vocal artist who has worked for many years with the Daodejing as inspiration for his vocal actions. Reassuring to know that not only crazy Europeans like me come to such ideas.

Now I pack my things and go back tomorrow. More about voice and ancient China from Germany!
